QUETTA: A student from Balochistan has topped the ACCA exam held in December last year.

Ahmed Ali achieved the highest marks in the professional exam worldwide for paper F9, with a score of 94. The British Council conducts the exam across the world.

In a letter to Mr Ali, Alan Hatfield, the Director Learning of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, UK, said: “I am delighted to inform you that your performance in the ACCA December 2012 examination was outstanding and you achieved the highest marks worldwide for paper F9 with a score 94.”

The association has announced a cash prize and a certificate of merit for Mr Ali.—Staff Correspondent
