PESHAWAR, April 10: A PML-N leader Haji Shahid Noor along with his family members and supporters has announced joining the PML-Q.

He made the announcement during a press conference at Peshawar Press Club on Wednesday. On the occasion, the PML-Q provincial general secretary Intikab Chamkani and Dr Shaukat were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Shahid Noor said he remained affiliated with PML-N as a member of provincial council and former divisional president of youth wing in Peshawar. He said the PML-N had ignored ideological workers by distributing tickets on the basis of favoritism and nepotism.

Mr Noor said there was no place for honest and ideological workers in PML-N. He also criticised the JUI-F and PTI for their ‘anti-workers’ policies. He said he would contest election on the PML-Q’s ticket from PK-2, Peshawar-II. —Bureau Report
