SANGHAR, Feb 3: A man believed to be accomplice of three thieves who tried to enter a house in the Sultan Chang village, near Tando Adam, on Sunday night and exchanged fire with villagers, was found dead.

Allah Dino Bhatti informed the police that four thieves were trying to enter his house and when he woke up and raised alarm, they shot at him. He said on hearing his shouts, other villagers also reached there and challenged the thieves, making them flee.

The villagers chased the thieves and found Rafiq Abro, son of Khamiso, dead at some distance from the village, with bullet injuries in his head.

The father of Rafiq Abro said his son was not a thief and he was killed in a conspiracy.
