KARACHI: Mock mushaira planned

KARACHI, Feb 6: A mock Mushaira of some of those poets who are no more alive will be held on March 2 under the aegis of the monthly Zarafat, says a press release.

It adds that Majrooh Sultanpuri, Josh Malihabadi, Jigar Muradabadi, Bahzad Lucknavi, Saba Akbarabadi, Ustad Qamar Jalalvi, Syed Zamir Jafri, Jon Alia, Dilawar Figar, Sehba Akhtar, Khumar Barabunkawi and Kunwar Mehinder Singh Bedi. Mirza Asadullah Khan Ghalib will preside over the Mushaira in the ICMA auditorium near the Nipa roundabout.
