Benazir flayed

Published February 7, 2003

LAHORE, Feb 6: PML-Q’s Punjab Information Secretary Kamil Ali Agha has criticized former prime minister Benazir Bhutto for her anti-Pakistan propaganda.

In a statement on Thursday, he said the tone and tenor of Ms Bhutto’s statements resembled with that of the Indian leaders.

He said on the one hand Ms Bhutto was criticizing religious parties and on the other her party had made election alliance with the same entities. The PPP support to MMA candidate on PP-147 (Lahore) substantiated the assertion.

Agha said Ms Bhutto was branding religious leaders as teachers of the Taliban. One of such teachers had been made chairman of the National Assembly’s foreign affairs committee during the second Benazir rule.
