QUETTA, April 2 Two employees of a hairdressing salon and a Wapda official were gunned down in Quetta and Kalat on Friday.

According to sources, men on a motorcycle opened fire at the salon on the outskirts of Quetta, killing the two employees, identified as Abdul Rashid and Wasim Ahmed. Two people were injured in the attack.

In Kalat, Wapda official Abid Hussain was shot dead when he was returning home from his office. He died on the spot.

“Both were incidents of target killing,” a senior police official said.

No arrests were reported till late in the evening.
