KASUR, March 3: The provincial government has imposed a ban on the entry of 16 ulema belonging to different sects in the district during Muharram on the recommendation of the district government and the DPO.

The ulema whose entry has been banned are: Hafiz Muhammad Abdullah, Maulana Muhammad Hussain (Sheikhupura), Maulana Tawwakal Hussain, Qari Abdul Hafeez, Maulana Dildar Hussain (Faisalabad), Maulana Gulfam Hussain Hashmi, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haqani, (Multan), Maulana Shabbir Hussain Shah (Hafizabad), Maulana Tajuddin Haidri, Maulana Manzoor Ahmad (Gujranwala), Maulana Abdul Aleem Yazdani, Maulana Azam Tariq, Maulana Fazal Hussain Alvi (Jhang), Maulana Abdul Tawab, Maulana Ahmad Ali Kasuri (Lahore) and Qazi Manzoor Ahmad (Sargodha).

WALK: An anti-polio walk was arranged by EDO (Health) Dr Muhammad Zulfiqar here on Monday. Tehsil Nazim Malik Rashid Ahmad Khan, Nazimeen, journalists and the general public also participated.
