KARACHI, March 5: The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), Sindh Region, will open its offices at Hyderabad and Sukkur for the convenience of cable operators.

The regional manager, PEMRA (Sindh), Ashfak Jumani, said this on Monday while speaking on the occasion of the first anniversary of PEMRA’s founding.

Mr Jumani said the PEMRA has achieved its targets of regulating cable operators in the metropolis.

He said that the PEMRA has a firm belief in the free flow of electronic information as well as providing new opportunities for commercial ventures.—APP
