BAHAWALPUR, March 7: At least 10 office-bearers, including three vice-presidents of the Lahore High Court, Bahawalpur Bench, were elected unopposed.

Those elected are: vice-presidents Mian Khalilur Rahman (Rahim Yar Khan), Shah Nawaz Kuliar (Bahawalpur), Ibrahim Khan (Bahawalnagar); executive council members Jamshed Iqbal Khakwani, Zafar Iqbal Awan, Mian Rashid Ahmad, Rana Abdul Ghani and Afzaal; finance secretary Mian Azhar and library secretary Malik Khalid Warraich.

The polling for the offices of president, secretary-general and joint secretary will be held on March 29. Malik Nazar Muhammad and Chaudhry Ijaz Ahmad are in the run for the slot of president, Saeedullah Moghul and Malik Aamir Raza for secretary-general and Rao Amjad and Abdul Haq for joint secretary.
