Benazir investigation

Published April 28, 2010

YOUR editorial 'Benazir investigation' has stressed the importance for Pakistanis to arrive at the truth of the matter. However, you have failed to take any notice of the grave danger to which Saud Aziz has become exposed after the release of the UN report and the central importance of his future role as a witness.

Could you, therefore, through an editorial make some recommendations for his 'transparent protection' so that in the event of his elimination as material witness it is possible to assign responsibility which by itself could act as a deterrent against such an act?
