Appeal to CJP

Published May 25, 2009

ACCORDING to media reports, the Inter-Board Coordination Committee has decided to bar all students under 14 years of age from sitting for Class IX board examinations.

I am going to miss the target of 14 by two months but it will cost me one academic year. Who will be responsible for this loss?

I am greatly disturbed by this decision and have lost interest in studies. Thousands of students in Classes VI, VII, VIII and IX must be affected by this senseless decision.

We request the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, to take suo motu notice and save our precious academic year.
