RAWALPINDI, Dec 13 Four members of the United Nations' commission investigating the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto arrived in Islamabad on Sunday, Dawn has learnt.

Two members of the team, Ms Marcie Mersily and Mr Suman Pradhal, had arrived on Saturday morning and Ms Viraic Right and Mr Milbert Shin joined them on Sunday.

The UN commission began its probe in January this year and visited Liaquat Bagh where Ms Bhutto had been killed in a gun-and-bomb attack.

The team is likely to stay in Pakistan for about eight days and will hold meet- ings with senior officials of the interior ministry and Federal Investigation Agency.

Strict security arrangements have been put in place for the team.
