Railway track blown up in Quetta

QUETTA, Feb 14 A portion of railway track was blown up here on Sunday, which stopped rail traffic between Quetta and the rest of the country for several hours.

Sources said an explosive device had been placed near the main railway track in Sariab area.

According to railway authorities, a two-foot-long portion of the track was damaged. They said the Quetta-bound Chiltan Express which was coming from Faisalabad had been stopped in Mach after the blast. The traffic was restored late in the night after the necessary repair work.

Meanwhile, a portion of the building of livestock department in Wadh area of Khuzdar was damaged in a bomb blast.
