Policeman killed in Quetta

QUETTA, April 3 A policeman was gunned down and another one injured here on Saturday.

Sources said that head constable Abdul Wahid was killed when two people opened fire on policemen near the Irrigation Colony in the Sariab road area. Constable Nasarullah was injured and admitted to the civil hospital.

The assailants, who were on a motorbike, sped away.

Three people were injured when a bomb exploded in Dera Murad Jamali. Police said the bomb had been plant along a road.“It was a locally-made bomb,” police sources said.

Meanwhile, gas supply was suspended to parts of Dera Bugti district when some people blew up a gas pipeline in Loti town.
