LAHORE A 12-member Pakistan volleyball team has been announced for the second stage of qualifying matches of the 2010 World Cup.

The qualifiers will be held in Tehran, Iran, from May 24.

Secretary, Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) Major (retd) Mohammad Afzal while announcing the team, said that besides Pakistan, the other countries participating are India, Oman and host Iran and the top two teams would qualify for the next stage.

Pakistan was undefeated in the phase of World Cup qualification matches held in Islamabad.

The team leaves today (Tuesday) from Islamabad.
