KARACHI Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Daniele Bracciali were knocked out of the Rai Open tennis Championship on Friday.

Qureshi, Pakistan's top tennis player, paired up with Italy's Bracciali in the semi-final of the clay-court championship being played in Rome.

They lost to Poland's Tomasz Bednarek and Mateusz Kowalczyk in the semi final in straight sets (4-6, 6-7).

This was Qureshi's third clay-court tournament of the season after the Casablanca and Napoli.
