Karachi Blues overcame Habib Bank Limited in the final of Pakistan's top domestic tournament, the Quaid-e-Azam trophy to be crowned national champions for the sixth time. Bowlers dominated the low-scoring encounter that last only three of the five designated days and Karachi Blues captain Mohammad Sami took six wickets on the day he was due to leave for Australia to join the Test squad.
