HYDERABAD: Illegal construction

HYDERABAD, March 12 Residents have threatened to seek help from court if the builder continues illegal construction of a multi-storey building on plot no A-3, Phase II of the Sindh University Housing Society, Jamshoro.

Liaquat Mari, Dr Abdul Rehman, Zahid Dharejo and others said in a statement that though the Sindh Local Bodies Minister Agha Siraj Durrani directed the builder to stop construction but to no avail.

The builder enjoys the support of an influential person which was why the Sehwan Development Authority was reluctant in taking action.

They threatened to seek remedy from the court of law if illegal construction was not stopped forthwith.—Bureau
