HYDERABAD, April 8 The airstrip is too small to cater to Boeing services therefore, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has decided to set aside two ATR planes out of its fleet of seven for the city for time being, said District Manager Jamil Ahmed.

He disclosed this to members of the Hyderabad Chambers of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) at Chamber's Secretariat on Wednesday.

President HCCI Shafique Ahmed Qureshi said that the fare of ATR-40 from Hyderabad to Lahore was Rs9,100 and from Karachi to Lahore it was between Rs5,000 to Rs6,000. He asked the PIA to rationalise the fare.
