HYDERABAD, April 14 Notwithstanding numerous conspiracies to destabilize the PPP government, it is gaining more strength with each passing day as it is the party of the masses and enjoyed full support of the people.

This was stated by the Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, who was speaking at a condolence meeting to mark the second death anniversary of the former Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Abdullah Shah, at his native village Wahur, district Jamshoro, on Tuesday afternoon.

Paying rich tributes to the services of Syed Abdullah Shah for the downtrodden, the Sindh chief minister said that he was a brave politician who joined PPP on day one and remained with it till his death. He had faced Martial Law with courage and he was our companion in jail and rail, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said.

He said that Roti, Kapra aur Makan was the slogan and manifesto of the party and to implement this manifesto, PPP had opened new avenues of employment for the poor people. The construction of houses for the poor people is in progress and a roti plant project will be installed very soon, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said.

He said, the great party leaders, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto had sacrificed their lives for the country and the nation and they were committed to make Pakistan impregnable and to improve the lot of the downtrodden.

They are no more amidst us but they have left behind their manifesto which is being implemented by the party to change the destiny of the nation, the chief minister said. He conceded that the government could not provide as many jobs as the people expected but it was striving had to come up to the expectations of the people.
