HYDERABAD, Jan 2 Different Shia organisations have criticised Hesco for carrying out loadshedding for hours together when Majalis are held and mourning processions are taken out at night.

Markazi Tanzeem Aza Latifabad at a press conference at the press club here on Friday appealed to Hesco to refrain from loadshedding at night.

Syed Aftab Hussain Jafri, Syed Fazil Hasnain Jafri and other office- bearers of the organisation said that there was no loadshedding in Ramazan when the price of furnace oil in the international market was higher than its present price.

They said that agent saboteurs may create disturbances at Majalis and mourning processions during loadshedding. They said that water supply was also being badly affected due to loadshedding and dirty water had been accumulated outside Imam Bargahs and mosques, creating problems for the faithful.

They said that it was high time Hesco realised its responsibility and refrained from loadshedding at night.

Meanwhile, Azadar Rabita Committee staged a protest demonstration against Hesco outside the press club.
