GUJRANWALA, April 5: Argentinean ambassador Harocio Baso and Sri Lankan High Commissioner General C.S. Weerascortya visited the industrial exhibition of ‘made in Gujranwala’ at Gulshan Iqbal Park here on Saturday.

Besides the foreign dignitaries, Punjab IG (Prisons) Pervaiz Rahim Rajput,

Bank of Punjab Chairman Tariq Hamid and Punjab

Food Minister Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal also visited the exhibition.

They took a round of the exhibition and lauded the quality and standard of the products displayed at various stalls. They expressed the hope that Pakistan could achieve more foreign exchange with the export of these quality products. GCCI president Khawaja Tahir Hassan and other office bearers welcomed the distinguished guests and apprised them of the salient features of the exhibition.

DOCTORS: At least nine specialist doctors, including a neuro surgeon, a physician, a pathologist, and a cardiologist, will be inducted at the DHQ and THQ hospitals at Kamoki and Wazirabad.

This was stated by District Coordinating Officer Iftikhar Ahmad in a press release issued here on Thursday.
