SRINAGAR, April 7: Three militants were killed in occupied Kashmir on Monday when a mine they were planting went off, a police spokesman said.
He said they were planting the mine on a road near Kapran village of the Pulwama district when it went off accidentally.
“All the three are believed to be militants,” he said, adding the impact of the explosion was felt up to four kilometres away.
The road is frequently used by the Indian army, paramilitary, police and politicians, he said.
