KARACHI Pakistan's top two cueists, Mohammad Sajjad and Mohammad Asif, continued their winning spree in the IBSF World Snooker championship in Hyderabad, India, on Monday.

Sajjad, who chalked up an authoritative 4-0 victory over bespectacled Farhan Mirza of Sweden in the opener on Sunday, coasted home 4-1 against Finland's Juha Erkinmikko the scores being 69-25, 50-64, 67-1, 59-16, 70-34.

Asif, the reigning national champion, recovered twice to inflict 4-2 defeat on experienced Steve Misfud of Australia. Fresh from 4-1 triumph over Ahmed Aly of US the other day, he was jittery in the beginning before making a comeback. He lost the first frame 17-82. But then there was no stopping as he claimed the next three frames 55-47, 66-50, 66-54.
