OKARA, June 4 The Renala Khurd Bar Association has been given seven kanals of land for law chambers and barroom.

The bar had to go on a strike for more than three weeks before getting this land on Thursday evening, with the efforts of the Okara District Bar Association, District Coordination Officer Ali Jan Khan and Sessions Judge Mian Muhammad Shafi.

Punjab Bar Council members Rana Abdul Rehman and Mian Iftikhar Ahmad, DBA President Rai Shafi Kharal and Secretary Syed Kausar Iqbal Shah, Renala bar President Syed Nazirul Husnain and Secretary Wilson Gill and all civil judges and additional sessions judges of the district were present at the ceremony where the bar was given the land.—Staff Reporter
