Nawabshah sizzles at 42°C

NAWABSHAH, April 12 The Shaheed Benazir Abad district is in grip of an intense heatwave as mercury rose to 42 degree Celsius on Sunday.

Many children and elderly people affected by the hot weather landed in the People's Medical College Hospital and other hospitals of the district.

Nawabshah city wore a deserted look between 11am and 5pm as people preferred to remain indoors.
