Hyderabad mourns MQM leader`s death

HYDERABAD, Sept 18 A major part of the city observed mourning by keeping their shutters down following the murder of Dr Imran Farooq former convener of MQM's Coordination Committee in London on Thursday. They did not observe mourning on Friday as interior parts of the province observe it as a closed day.

Markets remained closed on appeals of Amin Khatri, Chief of Hyderabad Businessmen Panel and Aziz Arain, President, Hyderabad Chambers of Commerce and Industry. MQM Hyderabad zone organised a condolence meeting at its local zonal office.
