GUJRANWALA, March 18 The District Bar Association through a resolution on Wednesday banned the entry of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman and his address to the bar on any occasion for his calling the long march “the battle of Punjab”.

At a meting held at the bar room, chaired by president Rana Amir Afzal, DBA Secretary-General Sarfraz Butt tabled the resolution against Fazlur Rehman which was unanimously adopted.

The lawyers condemned his statement and said “he (Fazl) wants to appease his political masters and create hatred between Punjab and other provinces”.
