Published September 26, 2009

LAHORE, Sept 25 Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) Vice-President Munawwar Iqbal Gondal has written a letter to Supreme Court Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, asking him not to visit the bar till a final decision of the Pakistan Bar Council on the bar president.

Gondal, who still claims to be the bar president, said in the letter that all lawyers had a great respect for Justice Chaudhry and that he should treat all of them, especially the bar office bearers, equally.

The letter reads “The reception being hosted in your (CJ's) honour is purely arranged by Nasira Iqbal who is a supporter of Hamid Khan.” —Staff Reporter
