KHAIRPUR: Demonstration

Published April 14, 2003

KHAIRPUR, April 13: An elderly woman, Hawa Rid, held a protest demonstration along with her three children outside the press club on Sunday against the police.

She told newsmen that her married daughter, Khanzadi Rid, had been kidnapped by some influential people of the area in Naro Taluka three days back but the police had not arrested the kidnappers as yet.

She threatened that if her daughter was not recovered in two days, she would commit self-immolation.—Correspondent
