Fire erupts at ex-CJP`s house

ISLAMABAD, May 13 Fire erupted at the house of former chief justice of Supreme Court causing damage to property and other valuable here on Wednesday evening.

A short circuit caused the fire in a store situated behind the house of Abdul Hameed Dogar located at Judicial Colony, police and city fire brigade said.

They said the former chief justice along with his family members was present in the house when the incident took place. However, no injuries were reported.

The city fire brigade and police extinguished the fire after half an hour.
