Published February 7, 2010

DADU, Feb 6 The local administration sealed the Dadu Press Club on Saturday after a dispute between two groups of journalists. One of the groups accused the other of occupying the building by force and barring them from the premises.

To resolve the issue, the state minister for food and agriculture, Rafique Ahmed Jamali, met representatives of the two groups on Saturday. Later he directed the Information Department, Hyderabad, to look into the matter and hold elections under its supervision.

Twenty-four journalists of print and electronic media have started a three-day protest against the 'occupation' outside the press club.
