DADU, Dec 24 The first additional session judge of Dadu has issued notices against 50 police officials to appear in the court on Dec 30, for shelling teargas and baton-charging on protesters in the village of Peechoa on Thursday.

Ms Naushad Solangi of the village of Peechoha in taluka Dadu filed an application in the court of the first additional session, stating that a heavy contingent of police led by Dadu DSP Shamsuddin Magsi, Dadu SHO Pir Allah Bachayo, Jhallo SHO Iftikhar Jamali, Khudabad SHO Ayaz Bughio and 46 others police officials used tear gas and batons on villagers when they protesting against the SHO of Dadu on Wednesday.

She said police action had left six men and four women injured police also registered an FIR against them.

The court issued notices to DSP Shamsuddin Magsi, SHO Pir Allah Bachayo, SHO Iftikhar Jamali, SHO Ayaz Bughio and 46 others police officials to appear in the court with relevant record.

The injured women included Naushad Solangi, Ms Arbab, Naushad, Gulshan and Imamzadi were admitted in the civil hospital.

SP investigation Khalid Mustafa Korai raided the village of Peechoha and arrested Asghar, Mohib Solangi and 12 other villagers.
