SANGHAR, May 9 Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Choudhry cast doubt on high cost of construction of the judicial complex at Tando Adam, which he inaugurated on Saturday, and directed Justice Arif Khilji of Sindh High Court to run a check on the record.
The CJP who is on a visit of the province said the cost of the building was more than cost of a court building in Islamabad.
He inspected different rooms of the building and checked quality of construction work.
The CJP also directed Sanghar DPO Zulfiqar Junejo to complete investigation of cases and submit challans to respective courts within 14 days.
Police always failed to submit challans in time and in many cases they had submitted the documents in 10 months, he said.
