LARKANA, Nov 8 The Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, Mr Justice Sarmad Jalal Osmany, presided over a court reference held in the court room of the SHC here on Monday to pay tribute to late Akhtar Ali G. Kazi and late Nizamudin Memon, two prominent lawyers who belonged to this city.

Expressing his grief over the death of the two lawyers, the SHC chief justice said that their services would be remembered for a long time. He also eulogised professional capabilities of the late lawyers.

The president, Sindh High Court Bar Association, Larkana chapter Inayatullah Morio, and the Additional Advocate -General of Larkana, Abdul Hamid Bhurgari also lauded the services of the two late lawyers.

They said Akhtar Ali G. Qazi had the honour of holding top slots such as chief minister of Sindh, ambassador to Kenya, provincial education minister and deputy speaker of the Sindh Assembly.

They said Nizamudin Memon had rendered memorable services in the field of education and w as the key figure in establishing the law college in Larkana.

The chief justice also visited the SHC building, including its library and planted a sapling in its premises. He also attended a tea party hosted by the SHCBA, Larkana chapter.

Later the chief justice visited the district and sessions court where he also planted a sapling in its premises.
