QUETTA, Feb 19 Taking suo motu notice of targeted killings in the province, Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court Qazi Faez Issa has asked provincial government officials to appear before the bench on Tuesday.

An official statement issued on Friday said Chief Justice Issa had directed the court registrar to place a constitutional petition on the issue before the division bench on Feb 23.

Notices were issued to the chief secretary, home secretary, provincial police officer, capital city police officer for Quetta, and advocate general and prosecutor general for Balochistan, said the statement.— Correspondent
