RAWALPINDI, Sept. 30 In order to gather facts and collect evidence, the United Nations inquiry commission probing the Benazir Bhutto assassination case will visit Adiala jail on Thursday where they will investigate five under-trial suspects arrested by Pakistani authorities, Dawn has learnt.

The source said the UN team's five members, headed by Chiles UN Ambassador Heraldo Munoz, will visit Adiala jail on Thursday morning where they will investigate and gather facts from five suspects arrested in connection with Benazir Bhutto's assassination.

Tight security arrangements will be put in place for the visiting commission members during their stay in Adiala jail, the source said.

Law enforcement agencies arrested five persons allegedly involved in the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. They are being tried in the Anti-Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi.

The Federal Investigation Agency's Special Investigation Wing has already started reinvestigation into the case.

The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has formed a three-member commission headed by Chiles UN ambassador Heraldo Munoz, besides Indonesias former attorney general Marzuki Dar Usman and Peter Fitzgerald, a former deputy police commissioner of the Irish National Police Force.
