Another victim of Dadu blast dies

DADU, Feb 19 A man injured in Sunday's bomb blast at New Chowk here died on Friday.

Badal Brohi, a cobbler, died in a Karachi hospital and his body was brought here.

Hundreds of people, including activists of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz and Pakistan People's Party-SB, gathered at the residence of Badal Brohi, and carrying the body, took out a procession and held a demonstration at the DPO Chowk. The protestors burnt tyres on the road and pelted vehicles with stones, blocking traffic for almost four hours.

The protesters, led by Badal's wife Pathani and brother Ghulam Shabbir, were shouting slogans against police failure to rush the injured, including Badal, to hospital.

Dadu DPO Ghazi Salahuddin persuaded the protesters to disperse.

Later, the body was buried in a local graveyard.

Two other people Ghulam Qadir and Hesco worker Sikandar had died soon after the blast.
