KARACHI At least 25 militants have been killed while several others injured as operation spring cleaning entered its third day in Frontier Region (FR) Peshawar and  FR Kohat.

Addressing a press conference in Darra Adamkhel, Frontier Constabulary commander Sifwat Ghayur claimed that they recovered eight suicide jackets, a large number of bombs and ammunition, target lists, training menus and Improvised Explosive Devices during the operation.

Ghayur also denied reports about the presence of foreign militants in Paspawana area. "All the militants in the operation-hit areas are locals and belong to Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Peshawar and Punjab," he said. -DawnNews
