GUJRAT The stage is set for a by-election for PP-111 in Gujrat tomorrow as the two major rival parties PML-N and PML-Q are likely to have a neck-and-neck contest.

Both the parties held big gatherings on the last day of the campaign. The by-election is being held for PP-111 after PML-N MPA Haji Nasir Mahmood was unseated due to his fake graduation degree.

Pakistan Muslim League-Q has fielded former provincial minister Mian Imran Masood while PML-N had awarded the ticket to Haji Imran Zafar.

PML-Q has leveled allegations on Punjab government that before the by-polls it has changed nineteen presiding officers who refused to do rigging.

Meanwhile, the law enforcement agencies have finalized the security plan for Wednesday's by-polls besides deploying Rangers to ensure peaceful conduct of election.

There are total one hundred and twelve polling stations out of which thirteen have been declared as sensitive.—DawnNews
