TURBAT One person was killed and five others were injured during a shoot-out in the Turbat on Sunday.

The incident occurred during a meeting of Baloch nationalist party Baloch National Front (BNF) in the Tump area of Turbat.

BNF leaders have accused security forces of opening fire on the party members during the public meeting, DawnNews reports.

However, officials of the Frontier Corps have denied the accusation, saying they resorted to aerial firing when attacked by unknown assailants.

Meanwhile, the BNF has announced a three-day shutter-down strike across the Makran belt to mourn the killing of their party member. —DawnNews
