KARACHI, Jan 22 Senior Minister for Education and Literacy Pir Mazharul Haq has said that seven cadet colleges, including two cadet colleges for girls, will be established in Sindh with the collaboration of the Pakistan Army.
Five cadet colleges for boys would be established in Ghotki, Dadu, Kandhkot and in the Gadap Town of Karachi and those for girls would be set up in Shaheed Benazirabad and Larkana, he said at a press conference at the PPP Media Cell.
He said the basic objective of founding these colleges was to recruit more youths of the province in the army.
The minister said that it was for the first time in the country's history that cadet colleges for girls were being established.
He said that no action could be taken against private schools for an unjustified increase in tuition fees, as cases were pending in courts.
However, he said, a legal cell was being set up on the directives of the chief minister to address complaints against private schools.—PPI
