KARACHI, Nov 20 Promising Syed Zuhair Raza clinched the juniors' under-17 singles title when he edged past Nameer Shamsi in the final in straight sets of the 19th Talent Hunt Sindh Ranking Tennis championship which concluded at the City Sports Complex on Friday.

Zuhair, who lost the men's singles title to Davis Cupper Yasir Khan on the penultimate day, registered 6-4, 6-2 victory over boys' under-15 singles champion Nameer.

The ladies singles crown went to Eman Malik who disposed off Maheen Dada 6-4, 6-1.

Teenager Saod Shoaib, however, claimed the double crown winning the boys under-13 singles as well as doubles title. He beat Sanwal Memon 8-7 for the singles title and teamed up with Talha Zubair Surmawala to land the doubles.

The juniors' under-17 doubles final that was supposed to be played between Zuhair Raza/Abdul Rehman and Omer Shahid/Mustafa Zaidi was cancelled.

Results

Boys' under-13 singles final Saod Shoaib bt Sanwal Memon 8-7.

Ladies singles final Eman Malik bt Maheen Dada 6-4, 6-1.

Boys and girls under-11 singles final Maheen Dada bt Adnan Allahwala 8-2.

Boys' under-13 doubles final Talha Zubair Surmawala and Saod Shoaib bt Sanwal Memon and Sarwan Memon 8-4.
