KARACHI, Oct 27 Unseeded Zaid Noor Sumar continued his winning spree while imposing a straight sets victory over Mustafa Zaidi to enter first men's singles final of his career in the 10th STA development series tennis championship at the City Sports Complex on Wednesday.

Zaid, who toppled his elder brother and second seed Saif earlier, handed a 6-3, 7-5 defeat to his opponent on way to making it to the final. He is slated to meet the winner of semi-final which was in progress between Syed Abbas Raza and top seed Omer Shahid at the time of filing this report.

Zoya Khan and Maheen Dada will be up against each other in the ladies singles final. The former edged Uroosa Ahmed 8-4 in the second pre-final to complete the final lineup.

Mustafa Zaidi, however, earned some consolation when he together with Farhan Mustafa stormed into juniors' under-17 final. The former disposed off Saad Noor Sumar 6-3, 6-1 while the latter whipped Malik Hamza 6-2, 7-5 in two semi-finals.

Meanwhile, curtain falls on the event on Thursday with all the finals on card.
