KARACHI, Oct 20 The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association has received a No-Objection Certificate from the Sports Ministry to send its players to India to feature in the World Snooker Championship in Hyderabad.

“We will submit visa request for our cueists for the event on Wednesday,” PBSA President Alamgir Sheikh said.

He added that the association would be sending top players Mohammad Sajjad and Mohammad Asif for the championship to be held next month. He said the training camp for the cueists will be starting at the Karachi Club from Thursday.

“We have delayed the camp which was supposed to start from Tuesday due to renovation work at the Karachi Club's Snooker Hall,” he added.—PPI
