Women`s Open squash

KARACHI, Oct 2 The inaugural Karachi Women's Open Squash championship gets into action at Karachi Club from Oct 18, organisers announced on Friday.

The four-day main round will be preceded by one-day qualifiers slated for Oct 17.

The event which will have national ranking status, carries a total purse of Rs70,000.

Karachi City Squash Association is organising the event in collaboration with Sindh Squash Association.

The organisers will provide accommodation to main round players.

Last date for submission of entries is Oct 10.—Sports Correspondent
