Regional hockey coaching courses

KARACHI, April 25: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) is conducting regional coaching courses for coaches and umpires all over the country in their campaign to create more awareness among the local technical officials.

PHF secretary Brigadier Musarratullah Khan said on Friday that separate courses are being held in various cities and more will be organized in other centers later this summer.

The regional course for coaches and umpires of Punjab will begin in Lahore from April 28. Similar events will be held in Islamabad, Azad Jammu Kashmir and Peshawar during April-May.

The Balochistan course is presently underway in Quetta under the supervision of former Olympic Asif Bajwa who is presently working as the coach of the national junior team.—PPI
