KARACHI, Feb 13 Third seed Vishan Gir pulled off a minor upset when he breezed past second seed Qasim Kamani 3-1 to reach the Karachi Club singles handicap snooker tournament final at the KC premises on Friday.
Vishan, a former runner up of National snooker championship to Naveen Perwani, conceded the opening frame 20-59 only to recover and win the following three 78-76, 65-44, 69-61.
He is slated to meet unseeded Umer Saleem who accounted for Raza Junaid in the other semi-final by the identical scoreline. Final scores were 64-52, 49-65, 68-64, 66-45.
The final will be played on Saturday at 5.00pm.
