KARACHI, Dec 10 Top seed Haris Nadeem crashed out of the third Junior Sindh Cup snooker tournament phase II losing 2-3 to outsider Rizwan in the pre-final at Aly's Snooker Parlour on Thursday.

Rizwan recovered from 1-2 down to inflict 42-58, 43-27, 20-79, 55-23, 67-39 defeat on his opponent to set a date with Ahsan Butt in Friday's final.

The latter won the second pre-final against Johny in contrasting style 3-0 the scores being 70-34, 73-28, 97-40.

Apart from Haris, other seeded players Murtaza Iqbal, Ahsan-ul-Haq and Siddiq Ashraf were eliminated earlier.

Quarter-finals Haris Nadeem bt Ahsan Raza 3-0 (65-35, 60-49, 69-41); Rizwan bt Taha Karim 3-1 (76-21, 64-72, 76-24, 76-37); Johny bt Danial Adil 3-2 (45-47, 59-31, 28-49, 58-47, 68-55); Ahsan Butt bt Mustafa Qayyum 3-2 (56-4, 67-9, 61-90, 36-68, 62-24).

Semi-finals Rizwan bt Haris Nadeem 3-2 (42-58, 43-27, 20-79, 55-23, 67-39); Ahsan Butt bt Johny 3-0 (70-34, 73-28, 97-40).
