Tennis camp commences

KARACHI, July 5 The tennis courts of Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Coaching Centre that were lying dormant finally saw the light of the day with the commencement of one-month coaching camp the other day.The camp is part of Sindh Tennis Association's (STA's) consistent efforts and has been set up in collaboration with the PSB Coaching Centre.

By now, 21 youth, both boys and girls, have been enrolled and eager to learn the basics of the game. They have been provided rackets and balls by the STA.

Local player Sara Ahmed is the camp commandant while Abbas Raza has been deputed as coach.

The organisers plan to organise a separate camp trainee's tournament prior to its conclusion.
